Ramsud Technologies — Learning Platform & Creator Tools · Last updated: 5 October 2026
This policy explains what information Ramsud Technologies ("we", "us", "Ramsud") collects when you use the
learning platform and creator tools at learning.ramsudtechnologies.com (the "Service"), why we
collect it, how it is stored, and the choices you have — including when you connect a Google or LinkedIn
account to share a video.
1. Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly, and a small amount generated by using the Service:
Category
Examples
Account details
Username, email address, password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), phone number, role (student/teacher), and anything you add to your profile — name, bio, avatar.
Content you create
Courses, lessons, recordings, whiteboards, mind maps, images, diagrams and other files you make or upload using the Studio tools.
Payment records
If you buy a course or a Studio pass, the order amount, status and a Razorpay payment reference. We do not receive or store your card, UPI or bank details — Razorpay, our payment processor, handles those directly.
Connected-account data
If you choose to connect YouTube or LinkedIn to share a video, see sections 2 and 3 below.
Technical data
Standard web request logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) kept briefly for security and debugging, and local browser storage used to keep you signed in and remember your preferences on your own device.
We do not use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on the Service.
2. Google account data (Share to YouTube)
The Recording Studio has an optional Share to YouTube feature. It is off until you choose to connect a Google account.
What we request: your name and email address (to confirm which Google account is connected), and permission to upload videos to your YouTube channel on your behalf (the youtube.upload scope). We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google data.
Why: solely so that, when you click "Share to YouTube" on a video you made in the Studio, we can upload that file to your own channel without you having to download and re-upload it yourself.
What we store: an encrypted refresh token (AES-256-GCM) that lets our server request a short-lived upload permission from Google when you ask us to; your Google account name and email, so the app can show which account is connected; and the date you connected it. We do not store your Google password — we never see it.
What we don't do: we never post, upload or access anything on YouTube unless you explicitly click "Share to YouTube" for a specific video. We do not read your existing YouTube videos, subscriptions, comments or analytics. We do not sell, rent or use Google user data for advertising, and we do not transfer it to any third party except Google itself, to complete the upload you requested.
Until Google's review: while our app is pending Google's verification, YouTube requires that videos uploaded through it be set to Private. The Share dialog tells you this at the time.
Disconnecting: go to Profile → Connected accounts → Disconnect at any time. This revokes our access and deletes the stored token immediately. Videos already uploaded to your channel are not affected — they stay on YouTube under your control.
3. LinkedIn account data (Share to LinkedIn)
Similarly, the optional Share to LinkedIn feature lets you post a finished video, or a link to it, to your own LinkedIn profile.
What we request: your name, email and profile identifier (to sign you in and confirm which account is connected), and permission to create posts on your behalf (the w_member_social scope).
What we store: an encrypted access token (AES-256-GCM), your LinkedIn member identifier, account name and email, and when you connected. LinkedIn access tokens expire after 60 days; after that you'll need to reconnect.
What we don't do: we only post when you explicitly choose to share a specific video or link. We do not read your LinkedIn feed, connections or messages, and we do not post to company pages (only to your own profile).
Disconnecting: Profile → Connected accounts → Disconnect, any time. Posts already published to LinkedIn stay there under your control.
4. How we use information
To create and operate your account, and let you sign in.
To let you build, publish and take courses, and to run the Studio tools you use.
To process payments for paid courses or the Studio pass, through Razorpay.
To upload or post content to YouTube or LinkedIn, only when you ask us to.
To send account-related email (verification, password resets) — we do not send marketing email.
To keep the Service secure and working, and to diagnose problems.
5. Where and how information is stored
Account data, course content and connection records are stored in Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in
the Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region. Passwords are hashed; Google and LinkedIn tokens are encrypted at rest. We
apply reasonable technical safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
6. Whether we share information with third parties
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and Google user data is never used for advertising. We share information only where necessary to run the Service:
Razorpay — to process course and subscription payments.
Google / YouTube and LinkedIn — only to complete an upload or post you explicitly requested (sections 2–3).
Our cloud infrastructure provider (AWS) — to host the Service and store data, under standard provider agreements.
If required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of Ramsud Technologies, our users, or others.
7. How long we keep information
We keep account and course data for as long as your account is active. Files you explicitly save (e.g. uploaded
to a course) are kept until you delete them or close your account; temporary or unattached uploads are
automatically removed after 30 days. Connected-account tokens are kept until you disconnect the account or
delete your account, whichever is first.
8. Your choices and rights
You can review and edit your profile information at any time from your account settings.
You can disconnect YouTube or LinkedIn at any time (sections 2–3).
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us (section 11).
9. Requesting deletion
To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, email
admin@ramsudtechnologies.com from the email address on your
account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify the request and delete your account, profile
information and stored connection tokens within 30 days, except where we are required to keep certain records
(for example, payment records) for legal, tax or accounting purposes. Course content you have published to
other learners may be retained or anonymised rather than deleted outright, so that purchased access is not
disrupted for other users.
Disconnecting a Google or LinkedIn account (section 2–3) is immediate and does not require emailing us — use
Profile → Connected accounts → Disconnect.
10. Children's privacy
The Service is intended for users who can lawfully enter into an agreement in their jurisdiction. We do not
knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required by local law). If
you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated"
date above. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the revised policy.
